Southwest Narrow Gauge and San Juan Car Co are proud to introduce On3/On30 "Silverton" Coach Sets. In September 1941 the D&RGW halted the Chili Line from Antonito to Santa Fe. Open platform coaches, some with bay windows were stored, most were sold to mexico in 1942. in 1950 the rail road painted the three remaining open platform coaches in silverton yellow colors, "Aspen Gold". Coach #280, #306 and #320 were painted "Silverton" with two black trim stripes, the bay windows were removed. the Silverton Train, including excursion car 313, "Silver Vista" ran daily.
