MOUNTAIN MODELS DIE CAST

1)ON JUNE 15, 2010 MOUNTAIN MODELS ENTERED INTO FINAL NEGOTIATIONS WITH THEIR BUILDER TO PLACE PRODUCTION ORDERS FOR THE LONG AWAITED C-16 AND C-21 LOCOS. DELIVERY DATE AND FINAL PRICE WILL BE POSTED AS SOON AS WE RECEIVE OFFICIAL NOTICE

2)MMI K28S ARRIVE ON JULY 15, 2010 THIS LIMITED RERUN IS PRODUCED AND FINANCED EXCLUSIVELY BY SOUTHWEST NARROW GAUGE

3) SOUTHWEST AND SAN JUAN CAR CO WILL PRODUCE A VERY LIMITED "SILVERTON" SET. CASED SET WILL BE COACHES #280, 306, 320 IN SILVERTON $430 COLORS WITH TWO BLACK STRIPES CIRCA 1950. ON3/ON30 BUMBLEBEE K28 IS IN STOCK NOW $619

4) SOUTHWEST AND SAN JUAN CAR CO WILL ALSO PRODUCE A VERY LIMITED "CHILI LINE" SET. CASED SET WILL CONSIST OF BOX CAR, REEFER, SHORT R.P.O. AND COACH. SET ONE AND 2 WILL BE MOFFAT HERALDS AND R.P.O #61, 62 SET. WILL FEATURE FLYING GRANDE HERALDS AND R.P.OS #63 EST PRICE $420, RESERVE. MMI K28S MOFFAT AND FLYING GRANDE HERALDS #470, 471, 473, 476, 477 AND 478 ARE IN STOCK NO $599.

5) SOUTHWEST IS GOING TO PRODUCE ANOTHER VERY LIMITED ON3/ON30 K27 RERUN, SCHEDULED FOR ARRIVAL MID 2011. A VERY UNIQUE ADDITION TO THIS RUN WILL BE THE R.G.S. #455 AFTER THE WRECK STEEL CAB LOCO, FOR WHICH SPECIAL TOOLING HAS BEEN PAID. LOCO WILL HAVE PLOW ATTACHED AND SUNRISE HERALD. THIS RUN WILL ALSO INCLUDE 455 AND 461 R.G.S. WITH SUNRISE HERALDS AND MOFFAT AND FLYING GRANDE INBOARD AND OUTBOARD PISTON VALVE D&R.G.W. ROAD NUMBERS. THIS WILL BE A VERY, VERY LIMITED RUN, RESERVE NOW. EST PRICE $599

Recently a dealer who had visited Mark Mogonson; President of P.S.C./ Mountain Models, posted much supposedly confidential information about current or possibly upcoming projects on his website. He stated that some projects were cancelled.

I am Mountain Models largest narrow gauge dealer. While the cancellation information was being posted I, and I assume other P.S.C. dealers, was still booking orders for these items.

No formal announcement from PSC went to any dealers that I know of. So until I am notified, I will, as a faithful dealer, continue to book orders and expect PSC to produce the products.

Regarding two specific projects. I am the dealer who convinced MMI to announce C-16s. I am the dealer who has negotiated an order with P.S.C./ MMI to have 200 On3/On30 K28s produced and it was my idea to add green boiler tri color herald 470, 475 and 479s to the production run.

I assume P.S.C. has appointed the author of the emails posted recently on Yahoo Groups to be their spokesperson; otherwise he would not be making the statements he has made.

Do not blame your P.S.C. dealer if he did not notify you of the items that are announced as canceled, we dealers were not notified! If true, I hope you have not paid deposits that are languishing while unknown to your dealer for items that have been canceled. I'm just happy that I don't request deposits. I'll keep you posted.

ON JULY 15, 2009 MOUNTAIN MODELS ISSUED A NEW HON3, ON3/ON30 PRICE LIST.

4-4-0 LOCOS SPECS WERE CHANGED. 20 AND 22 TON DIE CAST SHAYS WERE ADDED AND SEVERAL LOCO LIST PRICES WERE SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASED. WE WILL CONTINUE TO OFFER A GOOD DISCOUNT FROM LIST BUT ALL PRICES WILL BE BASED ON MANUFACTURERS LIST PRICE AT TIME OF SHIPMENT.
